Cardiac Physiologist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Physiologist to join our team at HSE West North West. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out various duties in the hospital and other locations as required by the Health Service Executive.
Key Responsibilities- To perform regular safety and hygiene checks on equipment and environment in accordance with local/corporate policy.
- History taking and interpretation of request forms, performing procedures, reporting and highlighting abnormal recordings.
- Availability outside normal working hours for emergency situations, participation in in-patient care, preparation and reassurance of patient.
- Initiation and participation in dealing with medical emergencies including cardiac resuscitation, rostering and locum requirements.
- Comprehensive working knowledge and experience of cardiac invasive and non-invasive procedures.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and reports, participate in continuous professional development.
