Senior Engineering Manager

This role is responsible for leading the engineering services and facilities department to deliver operational and project success.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide hands-on leadership approach to getting things done.
- Develop and manage engineering project budgets, working closely with finance colleagues for accurate financial planning, reporting, and management of costs.
- Ensure safe working environments and regulatory compliance are core responsibilities of the role.
- Drive continuous improvement by planning and managing Opex and selected Capex projects aimed at enhancing infrastructure, operational efficiency, and overall user experience.
- Coordinate project scope, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of a recognized qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a related field to bachelor's degree level.
- At least 12 years of engineering experience, with a minimum of 8 years in a team leadership or managerial role, demonstrating success in performance management and people development.
- Experience in regulated, safety-critical, or complex operational environments is desirable.
- Proven experience in project management.
- Skilled user of engineering software, project management tools (e.g., AutoCAD), MS Office, and BIM systems.
