We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Product Legal Specialist to join our team in Dublin. As a key member of our Finance, Strategy, & Legal department, you will play a crucial role in shaping and scaling our legal product offering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a legal business partner for Product and Engineering throughout the product development lifecycle to proactively identify legal issues and provide practical advice to support innovation at Personio.
  • Manage Personio's day-to-day product queries, ensuring that scalable advice is always at the forefront by drafting and managing the implementation of FAQs, guidelines, and training materials.
  • Advise on compliance with marketing and advertising laws in our key countries to support our Marketing and Sales teams to ensure that when we launch a product, add a feature, or make public claims about Personio, we do so in line with our legal obligations.
  • Work closely with our Partnerships team to execute on negotiating, drafting, and advising on new partnerships that add value to Personio.
  • Support Personio's brand by advising Personio's Marketing teams on intellectual property matters.
  • B bring your knowledge of EU and UK privacy laws and apply it to Personio, to identify possible privacy risks at different stages of the product development lifecycle and embed a 'privacy by design' mindset.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 7 years' experience as a qualified lawyer with a focus on product counselling, privacy, and technology. You will also have advanced legal knowledge of technology legal issues, including intellectual property, privacy, commercial, regulatory compliance, and application of new laws (experience of advising on artificial intelligence is a plus).
