Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Google Cloud Platform Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with advanced expertise in managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, including Compute Engine, IAM, Cloud Storage, VPC, and networking.

Main Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain Google Cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and cost efficiency.
  • System Monitoring: Continuously monitor system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security policies for identity and access management (IAM), firewall rules, and compliance requirements.
  • Automation and Scripting: Automate operational tasks using Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or scripting languages (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve cloud service issues, providing support to development teams.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Implement and maintain GCP monitoring and logging solutions.

About the Ideal Candidate

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience managing Google Cloud Platform environments.
  • Skills: Hands-on experience with Compute Engine, VPC networking, IAM, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL. Knowledge of cloud automation tools like Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or Ansible.
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Relevant certifications, such as Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Developer or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
