Front of House Porter Job Description

As a Front of House Porter, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their stay is memorable.

The role involves meeting and greeting customers, setting up meeting rooms, and arranging audio-visual equipment. You will also assist in serving and clearing functions, as well as helping with luggage and other tasks as required.

This is an entry-level position that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a warm welcome to our guests.
  • Set up meeting rooms and arrange audio-visual equipment to meet guest requirements.
  • Assist in serving and clearing functions, including events and conferences.
  • Help with luggage and other tasks as required, ensuring seamless guest experiences.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and cope with changing circumstances.
  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience in a hospitality or customer-facing role is desirable but not essential.
