We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Environmental Impact Assessment Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with expertise in environmental assessments and report preparation.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant environmental discipline and comprehensive experience in managing EIA consultancy projects. They will be responsible for coordinating technical teams, managing client relationships, and identifying solutions to mitigate environmental impacts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage environmental inputs to large-scale development projects, including energy generation, distribution and transmission, highway improvements, greenway projects, carbon capture pipelines, and strategic national and regional rail projects.
  • Prepare and review environmental reports and specialist chapters to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with integrated design teams to improve environmental outcomes and identify impact avoidance and mitigation solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant environmental discipline (preferably a Master's degree).
  • Comprehensive EIA consultancy experience and proven skills in managing the preparation of environmental reports.
  • A detailed understanding of relevant Irish consenting regimes and environmental legislation.
  • Excellent leadership and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
