We are currently seeking an exceptional Senior Clinical Leader to join our team in a full-time position.

The key role of the successful candidate is to uphold excellence in person-centred care, clinical oversight, and continuous innovation within a nursing home environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily clinical operations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Promote a culture of respect, inclusion, and safety for both residents and staff.
  • Drive quality improvement and ensure compliance with HIQA regulations.
  • Support staff development through mentoring and training initiatives.
  • Oversee risk management, safeguarding, and implement best practices in elder care.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with NMBI registration.
  • Management qualification in health or a related field.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience in Older Person Care (within the past 6 years).
  • At least 3 years of management experience in health or social care.
  • Post-registration management qualification.
  • Must have knowledge of Health Act, HIQA guidelines, NMBI Scope of Practice & Code of Professional Conduct and importance of Safeguarding / dementia care.

Desirable:

  • Postgraduate diploma in Gerontology.
  • Additional management qualifications.
  • Strong IT and digital skills.
  • Awareness of international best practices in elder care.
