Engineering Opportunity

Your new role within a semi-state utilities body would be as a Design Engineer/Coordinator, working as part of a high-functioning team. The position itself is a hybrid role that requires 3 days working from home and 2 days in a local office.

  • Prepare feasibility responses to pre-connection enquiries received from potential customers.
  • Prepare connection offers and refusals, estimating the costs of network extensions using provided estimation tools.
  • Liaise with contractors, local authorities, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and provide feedback on design infrastructure on and off development sites.

Requirements

  • A relevant third-level qualification in construction engineering and a minimum of 5 years' experience.
  • Excellent ability to grasp bespoke software systems, mainly Dynamics 365 and Maximo.
  • Prior experience in civil works with an emphasis on utilities, mainly water/wastewater.
  • Ability to work full-time in Ireland.
