We are seeking a skilled mechanical project leader to oversee large-scale projects from tender to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the delivery of mechanical projects from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with sales and proposals teams to create bids, cost estimates, and project plans.
  • Mentor and guide project teams, supervisors, and subcontractors.
  • Oversee project finances, timelines, and resources to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Regularly visit project sites to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with health & safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors on behalf of the business at meetings.
  • Create project programmes, risk assessments, and method statements (RAMS).
  • Manage contract documentation and ensure compliance with all requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks to maintain profitability and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience in managing mechanical services projects.
  • A background in mechanical engineering, preferably with HVAC systems knowledge.
  • Experience working in high-spec environments such as data centres or pharmaceutical facilities.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and commercial skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A valid driving license is essential for site visits.
