About TN Ireland:

We are a well-established Life Sciences Company in Cork seeking a highly skilled Technical Services Scientist to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to work with Technical Services/Manufacturing Sciences (TS/MS) supporting the Small Molecule part of our site.

Main Responsibilities:
  • We need someone with a deep understanding of the laboratory model and thorough knowledge of process control strategy and its implementation in the manufacturing environment.
  • You will provide technical support for commercialization and technology transfer of new processes into operations/manufacturing environment.
  • The ideal candidate should have expert knowledge of process chemistry and overall molecule control strategy, including development history, impurity generation, and rejection etc. Ensuring maintenance of control strategy through lifecycle.
  • Transfer of new processes/technology to plant/site.
  • Familiarity with robust lab model for new or existing products.
  • Developing technical expertise in area of responsibility and demonstrating strong data-driven decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ensuring the process is in-control, capable, compliant, and maintained in validated state through continual monitoring.
  • Supporting busy production environment by raising deviations and leading root cause analysis on manufacturing issues.
  • Leading and raising change controls to support a busy production environment.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum MSc in Chemistry (Organic/Synthetic/Medicinal/Analytical).
  • 3 years experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
