About This Role

This senior accountant position is a key role within our accounting practice, requiring a highly skilled and experienced individual to manage a diverse portfolio of clients.


Key Responsibilities

Main Tasks:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering business advisory support and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Design and implement audit plans, overseeing audit engagements for clients (auditing will make up 25% of the role).
  • Focus primarily on financial reporting, management accounting, and corporate/personal taxation, preparing financial statements and reports for clients.
  • Provide advisory services, including presenting financial reports to clients and offering tailored business advice.
  • Supervise and mentor trainees, providing guidance and training during assignments.

Requirements

Essential Criteria:

  • 3+ years of experience in an Irish-based accounting practice.
  • Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or similar).
  • Strong technical knowledge in auditing, financial reporting, and taxation.
  • Experience in managing a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Able to work independently and take initiative.
  • Ambitious, with a clear desire to progress a career in practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
