Job Overview

The Senior Global Supply Chain Planner is responsible for coordinating short-term, long-term and end-to-end supply chain planning activities across the globe. The goal is to meet market demand and optimize inventory levels in our supply network.

  • Daily contact with internal and external suppliers to coordinate the supply of finished products, bulk materials, active pharmaceutical ingredients, or supporting materials.
  • Supporting the financial planning process by providing required data and input to develop a long-term supply strategy.
  • Coordinating and processing inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Maintaining accurate records in SAP and JDA systems and communicating supply updates and risks to customers in a timely manner.
  • Participating in plant meetings to review and improve performance.
  • Fostering strong stakeholder relationships and managing expectations.
  • Driving continuous improvements and participating in initiatives led by other colleagues.
  • Developing innovative ideas and solutions to maximize business opportunities and address challenges in the Global Supply Planner function.
  • Executing financial processes including hedging, inventory reserve review, and product scrapping.
  • Supporting artwork changes by coordinating related supply activity.
  • Creating value through ideas that benefit the organization as a whole and anticipating and responding to changes.
  • Influencing others when needed through the use of SME knowledge and enterprise view.
  • Supporting S&OE process through root-cause analysis, problem solving, and creative thinking to drive resolution.
  • Providing onboarding and training to new employees.
  • Taking on project leadership roles as required.
