Delicatessen Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated support assistant to enhance the smooth operation of our deli counter on a part-time basis.

  • Prepare and present hot and cold delicatessen items, sandwiches, salads and snacks.
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked deli counter, ensuring it is visually appealing.
  • Provide efficient and friendly customer service.
  • Handle customer requests with a positive attitude and aim to exceed expectations.
  • Follow food hygiene, allergen and Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Assist colleagues as required to ensure a seamless operation.

We are looking for someone with a positive can-do attitude, good people skills and the ability to work well in a team.

A good level of spoken English is essential although previous experience in a deli, catering or customer service role is not necessary.
