Job Overview:
Storm Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our team. This is a mid-level role where you'll be responsible for creating key policies, including privacy policies and terms & conditions.

You'll design, implement, and maintain compliance strategies that align with privacy, data protection, and regulatory requirements.

This includes crafting policies that fit the specific needs of each market.

You'll keep an eye on global and regional regulatory changes, especially around privacy laws like GDPR and CCPA.

You'll ensure compliance policies work seamlessly across multiple markets.

You'll create and run compliance training programs to help team members understand the importance of privacy, data protection, and compliance policies.

Leading internal audits and documenting compliance efforts will be a key part of your role.

You'll work closely with senior management to ensure compliance strategies align with overall company goals.

You'll also be the main point of contact for regulatory authorities and industry groups.

Responsibilities:
• Compliance Strategy Development: Design, implement, and maintain compliance strategies aligned with privacy, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
• Policy Creation: Craft policies such as privacy policies, terms & conditions, and user agreements tailored to each market's needs.
• Regulatory Monitoring: Monitor global and regional regulatory changes, particularly those related to privacy laws like GDPR and CCPA.
• Compliance Training: Develop and conduct compliance training programs to educate team members on privacy, data protection, and compliance policies.
• Internal Audits: Lead internal audits and document compliance efforts.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with senior management to align compliance strategies with company goals.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities and industry groups.

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in law or business administration is required. A master's degree or certifications like CCEP, CISA, or IAPP are desirable.

At least 4-6 years of experience working in a compliance, legal, or regulatory role, particularly around privacy and data protection.A deep understanding of privacy regulations and the ability to stay up-to-date with evolving legal landscapes are essential.
