Job Description:
">We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our process automation department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions to improve process efficiency.
">Main Responsibilities:
">- Provide day-to-day support for automated equipment and skid vendor proprietary systems
- Work with engineering and operations personnel to troubleshoot issues and make changes to control systems
- Design and develop programmable logic controller (PLC) automation system software
- Maintain the validated state of logistics automated systems in line with quality standards
- Promote the use of automation to improve productivity and operational efficiency
Requirements:
">To be successful in this role, you will require:
">- 5 years of experience in biopharma engineering, operations, or manufacturing
- Experience with Siemens PLC/HMI configuration, industrial communication protocols, and systems performing backup and restore
- Demonstrated ability to participate in decision-making, problem-solving, and continuous improvement
- Strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
