The role of a MES Data Engineer is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of the manufacturing environment. This position requires an individual with expertise in managing and maintaining complex data systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise to operations teams regarding the MES system.
- Collaborate with various departments, including Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, IT, and Quality, to ensure efficient MES site support during operational hours.
- Work with operations teams to deliver on departmental goals, schedules, and timetables for activities.
- Maintain conformance with relevant policies and procedures, contributing to the creation of work instructions and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Coach and mentor operations staff on the use of the MES system, upskilling them on troubleshooting basics.
- Lead MES activities in support of validation of new processes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable corporate and divisional policies and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- A relevant technical diploma.
- 3 years of experience in a related environment.
