Wastewater Network Solutions Expert

We are seeking an experienced Wastewater Network Solutions Expert to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering wastewater network projects, including drainage system upgrades, new pipelines, and new/upgraded pumping stations.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Engineer – Wastewater Networks to lead and deliver wastewater network projects. You will work closely with clients, support the development of junior engineers, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and deliver wastewater network projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and client requirements.
  • Deliver projects for water utilities, local authorities, and private sector clients.
  • Prepare reports such as feasibility studies, planning reports, site assessments, and technical evaluations.
  • Manage the preparation of deliverables such as designs, reports, and contract documents.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors.
  • Provide technical guidance and assurance across all stages of project delivery.
  • Mentor junior team members and support their career development.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant third-level degree in engineering (Level 7 or higher).
  • Ideally, Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years of relevant engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a design role.
  • Excellent professional/technical knowledge and skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and mentor junior staff.
