About the Role

As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer at Lead Group, you will play a crucial part in the design, development, and delivery of energy projects. You will work on innovative renewable energy projects, providing technical leadership and managing project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead electrical design activities for renewable energy infrastructure projects
  • Manage grid connection processes and liaise with utilities and stakeholders
  • Work on 38kVa+ systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • Oversee project tendering, design reviews, and quality assurance
  • Conduct site walkdowns, commissioning, and final handover
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Collaborate with project managers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery

What We're Looking For

  • Degree-qualified Electrical Engineer (or equivalent)
  • 10+ years' experience in electrical design & infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of grid connections
  • Experience in renewable energy and power system projects
  • Proven track record in project management and stakeholder coordination
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
