We are seeking a Data Management Professional to join our team at iXceed Solutions.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned IT professional with expertise in Investment systems to partner with cross-functional business teams and technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with cross-functional business teams and technical SMEs to identify and accurately document solutions via business and systems requirements and processes;
  • Facilitate and/or participate in internal workshops and meetings to gather project goals, workflows, complex business needs, gaps, and opportunities;
  • Determine how changing business needs will affect a system, product, and process;
  • Solve difficult problems through proposing insightful, knowledgeable, effective solutions;

We are looking for a proactive and innovative individual who can drive outside-the-box thinking and build knowledge of industry trends to drive implementation of critical functionalities into our applications.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with offshore/remote development teams in an Agile environment and be able to effectively work independently and in a team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant bachelor's degree with degrees in mathematics, finance, or computer science preferred;
  • 8+ years of technology experience in similar IT Business Analyst role working with Investment systems;
  • Experience dealing with a range of financial market-related data sets and asset classes is required;
  • Proficiency writing SQL Queries is required;
  • Knowledge of Data management best practices is preferred;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the business concepts applicable to a multi-faceted financial services organization is preferred;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written;
  • Ability to diagram workflows (Visio) to effectively communicate complex dataflows and system integrations;
