Job Description

You will play a key role in providing technical support to the business, engaging with stakeholders to understand requirements, estimating project effort, converting requirements into an architecture and design, and supporting architects in their detailed designs while ensuring governance, standards, and processes are adhered to.



You will work closely with all stakeholders throughout the Product Development Life Cycle, including engineering teams, enterprise architecture, agile delivery, product managers, project management, and senior management.



Your responsibilities will include providing guidance on the future evolution of the platform to meet business and technical requirements, defining the overall technical vision of solutions, and collaborating with other architects to bring designs to fruition.



Required Skills and Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, including 5+ years designing software solutions
  • Proficiency in RESTful APIs, modern software cloud architecture, and hands-on experience with specific technologies, including API gateways, Java, C#, microservices, data stores/databases, and at least one cloud provider
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence decision-makers
  • Experience working collaboratively with technical and non-technical colleagues to bring projects to completion
  • Able to go beyond the requirements provided to understand the business need and provide solutions that meet the current needs and are flexible
  • Independent worker who can take direction and provide a solution
