Job Description:

This position requires a high level of expertise and knowledge in procurement and contracting. The role involves developing and implementing effective procurement strategies for M402 contracts, creating procurement documents, managing contract requirements, and ensuring compliance with EU procurement directives and Irish laws.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for developing and implementing effective procurement strategies for M402 contracts.
  • Manage and lead the sourcing and contracting process for M402 contracts.
  • Develop and produce procurement documents for qualification and selection stages of M402 contracts procurements.
  • Work closely with the M400 Procurement Lead to prepare and review contracts issued to preferred tenderers before contract close during the tender process and preferred tenderer period.
  • Collaborate with various Directorate functions, such as Design and Engineering, Project Controls & Performance, Safety, and Information Management.
  • Support the M400 Lead in leading and managing the response to tenderer clarifications.
  • Support the M400 Lead in drafting or shortlisting letters for Qualification stages and regret and success letters during the selection stage of procurements.
  • Maintain and update documents according to established procedures.
  • Contribute to the revision and updating of Procurement Processes, Policy, and Procedures.
  • Supply accurate and timely information regarding progress and plans to aid the M400 Lead in managing and coordinating monthly commercial and procurement progress reports.
  • Participate in progress meetings to discuss procurement and assurance plans and progress if required.
  • Support the M400 Lead in managing and coordinating the resourcing of the M400 team, fostering a proactive and positive culture.
  • E nsure the team remains fully trained and up to date on relevant best practice, EU procurement directives, Irish law, and other statutes.
