Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Openchip & Software Technologies S.L. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud platforms, infrastructure design, and implementation.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on building new RISC-V chips with HPC and AI acceleration. As a Staff Cloud Software Engineer, you will be part of the cloud team responsible for ensuring our chips can be orchestrated, observed, and managed from the cloud.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Designing and implementing scalable and efficient cloud infrastructure solutions.
  2. Developing and maintaining high-quality code for cloud-based services.
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  4. Ensuring the security and reliability of cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
  5. Staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud computing.

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be expected to:

  1. Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based systems and infrastructure.
  2. Develop and maintain technical documentation for cloud-based systems and infrastructure.
  3. Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  4. Ensure that cloud-based applications and infrastructure meet the necessary security and compliance requirements.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • More than 10 years of experience in cloud computing and infrastructure design.
  • Expert-level knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Experience with cloud security and compliance.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • A team player mindset with a willingness to learn new technologies and stacks.

While not required, we welcome candidates with experience in the following areas:
