We are currently seeking an experienced Quality and Compliance Engineer to join our team. This is a Full-Time, Permanent Position with a competitive salary.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the organisation's QMS (Quality Management System) and control processes. This includes implementing, managing and improving quality management systems, conducting audits, and being an integral member of continuous improvement initiatives.
As a compliance engineer, you will lead the team in managing and governing compliance policies. You will collaborate with the management team in developing innovative policies and procedures to ensure that the Extrusion Centre of Excellence is a quality and compliance management leader.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and development of the business to maximise the effectiveness of the Quality System.
- Critical member of the team to develop a continuous improvement culture that addresses the root cause analysis of customer complaints and to lead a culture of change to ensure continuous improvement in all aspects of customer complaints management.
- Implement continuous SPC improvement process, which reduces non-conformances and achieves business goals and key performance indicators.
- Evaluate the performance of the system to identify any need for corrective action.
To be successful in this role, you will have industrial experience and a recognised quality management accreditation. You should also be able to demonstrate that you have delivered on significant quality objectives within a manufacturing environment. Excellent communication skills and IT proficiency are essential.
