Care Manager Job Opportunity

The role of the Care Manager is to oversee the delivery of care services to young people residing in a residential setting. This includes ensuring that the care provided meets the required standards, company policies and national regulations.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in social care, with experience in management and leadership roles. They will be responsible for creating a homely, clean, safe and supportive environment for the young people, and for ensuring that the staff delivering care are suitably qualified and trained.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing care plans to meet the needs of each young person
  • Supervising and mentoring staff to ensure they are providing high-quality care
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of care services
  • Collaborating with other teams to ensure a seamless service provision

Requirements for the role include:

  • A degree in Social Care or a related field
  • Proven experience in a management capacity
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
