Precision Calibration Specialist

Job Description
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Calibration Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine and special calibration of all equipment/test and instruments included in the calibration system.
Main Responsibilities- Plan and perform complex calibration of equipment with certifications and/or training in temperature and electronics
- Ensure all calibration documentation is entered into the system and in compliance, including the review of calibration, Preventive Maintenance (PM) and First Article Inspection (FAI) reports
- Register new equipment and maintain all metrology equipment (calibration and preventive maintenance) in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Lead investigations of non-conformities in different systems
- Cordinate with service providers and custodians for calibration
- Participate in the development and implementation of calibration processes and procedures
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years experience in measurement and calibration of equipment/instruments
- Good communication skills, including the ability to convey instructions and training
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office and advanced proficiency in CMMS
- Familiarity with calibration regulations and standards
- Ability to identify problems and relevant issues in complex situations, assessing using standard procedures
- Knowledge and understanding of statistical techniques and procedures
- Ability to utilize CAD/drafting software and ECR software systems
