Project Engineer

This is a challenging and rewarding role that will see you play a key part in the planning, design, and delivery of wastewater treatment/network projects.

  • About the Job
  • This position involves working on impactful projects that are shaping the future of Ireland's wastewater infrastructure. You will have opportunities for professional growth and development as well as a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • You will be responsible for developing designs for wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and network infrastructure. This will involve preparation of feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical evaluations.
  • In addition to this, you will be required to compile specifications and tender documents, prepare planning application documents, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including clients and contractors.
  • You will also be responsible for managing others in the preparation of drawings and other inputs, providing technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Requirements
  • Candidates should possess a relevant third level degree in engineering (Level 8 minimum) and ideally 5 years' post qualification experience with a minimum of 3 years' experience in wastewater design.
  • A strong background in industry-standard software is also essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required as you will be working with a range of stakeholders.
  • Candidates must also be able to work independently and within a collaborative multi-disciplinary team, manage deadlines effectively, and handle multiple tasks.
