About the Role

EPAM is looking for a Senior Integration Architect to align with a well-established key client of ours in Ireland. The goal is to identify integration patterns, approaches and align them with the wider strategy by working with the enterprise architecture team and technology consultants from EPAM to select an API gateway and orchestration tool(s).

Responsibilities

  2. Design and implement integration strategies, architectures and patterns to support the transition to a domain-driven microservices approach.">
  3. Collaborate with Solution Architects to understand legacy monoliths and existing microservices to create a roadmap for their integration with current and new services.">
  4. Facilitate the creation of a plan for seamless integration of new and existing services, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.">
  5. Develop and implement best practices for API design, ensuring efficient data exchange between systems and secure by design.">
  6. Work closely with development and architecture teams to implement integration solutions, providing technical guidance as needed.">
  7. Document all integration designs and decisions for future reference and use by other teams.">
  8. Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders on integration strategies and solutions.">

Requirements

  2. A Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or similar or relevant work experience.">
  3. Proven experience as an Integrations Architect with ability to design and implement robust integration architectures for domain-driven microservices, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards.">
  4. Strong knowledge of integration patterns and technologies, able to develop and optimize patterns for synchronous and asynchronous communication between microservices, including RESTful APIs, messaging and event-driven architectures.">
  5. Ensure efficient and secure data flow between microservices and external systems, implementing data transformation and mapping as needed.">
  6. Design and implement API management solutions, including security, throttling, versioning and monitoring.">
  7. Define and enforce integration best practices, standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across organization.">
  8. Experience with legacy monolith systems and ability to modernization approaches from an integration standpoint.">
  9. Leverage AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Step Functions and more to build scalable and reliable integration solutions.">
  10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to explain complex technical concepts to audience with various degree of expertise while working effectively in team environment driving strong relationships with stakeholders facilitating workshops.">
