Business Consultant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Business Consultant to join our organization. As a Business Consultant, you will play a key role in driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail financial services advisory, with at least 10 years of experience in change management and regulatory projects. They will be able to quickly understand business strategies and objectives, and have a proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities will include engaging with business users to capture and document business process models, translating business requirements into actionable change, and ensuring rigor in the process by challenging and validating business needs. You will also be responsible for delivering process improvements, employing process modelling techniques to capture requirements, and contributing to a metrics-driven culture within the function.

  • Engage with business users to understand problem statements and agree on the scope of engagement
  • Interview product owners to understand as-is business processes and develop customer-driven to-be processes
  • Document process models and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Map customer experience using tools like personas and customer journeys
  • Gather and analyze statistical data from business areas to support business cases for change and feed into risk data for regulatory purposes

You will work closely with Product Owners and Development teams to deliver process improvements, employ process modelling techniques to capture requirements, and contribute to a metrics-driven culture within our function. Experience of working in a regulatory program (specifically IRB, BCBS239, Risk Data) in a similar organization is highly desirable.
