Urgent Care Physician

A 9-month fixed-term position is available for an Urgent Care Physician to join our multidisciplinary team in a vibrant and team-focused environment.

Job Purpose:
- Provide care to patients presenting with a range of urgent care presentations, including minor injuries such as sprains, fractures, and wounds
- Facilitate referrals to specialists
- Initial interpretation of x-rays and ECG's
- Indicate any procedures done
- Treat patients who attend the clinic for consultation

Requirements:
- Registered with the Irish Medical Council
- Minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience in clinical practice, including significant experience in general practice and a minimum of 2 years recent urgent care/emergency medicine experience
- Training in emergency medicine, general practice or other postgraduate qualification would be highly beneficial
- 6 months' experience with pediatric patients is desirable
- Flexibility across a 7-day roster
- BLS certification

- Good knowledge of risk management and clinical audit
