Job Title: Infrastructure Project PlannerA prominent construction company is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Planner to lead the planning and management of major infrastructure projects in the UK and Ireland.The successful candidate will oversee the creation of comprehensive project plans, ensuring seamless collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:
  1. Managing Primavera P6 programme for NEC highway projects and storing data in the company's Enterprise Database.
  2. Providing detailed support to the construction team, enabling them to evaluate critical path points and make informed decisions.
  3. Creating programmes, reports, and extract filters as required by the team, highlighting deviations from the baseline programme.
  4. Attending progress meetings with customers and delivering presentations on project plans as needed.
  5. Integrating designers' and suppliers' programmes into the construction schedule, ensuring a cohesive workflow.
  6. Offering technical expertise and advice to enhance project delivery.
Requirements for the Role:To be successful, candidates must possess:
  • A deep understanding of the construction process and engineering principles, ensuring works are planned and designs are developed with buildability in mind.
  • Experience in planning civil engineering projects at delivery stage, with knowledge of Primavera P6 software.
  • Familiarity with commercial issues related to construction contracts and the ability to identify and record change events.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and organisational abilities to manage stakeholder expectations.
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred, but relevant qualifications may be considered.
