Premise Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As an Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of employees across various industries.

Job Description:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in occupational health, nursing practice, and patient education. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive physical evaluations, performing medical procedures, and developing treatment plans to facilitate timely return to work.

Your expertise will help mitigate workplace hazards, promote health and safety, and support the overall wellbeing of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct fitness for duty and return-to-work physical exams
  • Perform medical procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
  • Develop and implement transitional duty programs for injured workers
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams and stakeholders to provide comprehensive care
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Science of Nursing
  • Current national certification as a Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP)
  • At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, or emergency department setting
  • Experience working in an occupational health setting is preferred
