Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Educational Psychologist to join our team. As an Educational Psychologist, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality professional educational psychological service to assigned schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and support to teachers, parents, and other stakeholders on student wellbeing, academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to promote inclusive education practices that support the diverse needs of students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to build capacity in assigned schools and contribute to the development of our service through participation in meetings and working groups.
  • Fulfill functions in line with policies and legislative obligations of the Department.
Requirements
  • A recognised qualification at minimum Level 8 (1st or 2nd class honours) in Psychology.
  • A post-graduate professional qualification in educational psychology, or a post-graduate professional qualification in clinical or counselling psychology with at least two years of supervised experience working with children and young people.
