Job Summary

The Energy Pricing Manager plays a pivotal role in driving business growth by developing and implementing effective pricing strategies for commercial customers.

This involves collaborating closely with the Forward Trading, Finance, and Commercial Sales teams to design and execute pricing plans that meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of electricity and gas markets, as well as strong analytical skills, with experience in tools such as Python, SQL, and PowerBI.

They will be able to take ownership of key projects, drive results, and contribute to the company's success.

  • Design and implement pricing strategies for commercial customers
  • Collaborate with trading, finance, and sales teams to ensure alignment on pricing plans
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Conduct competitor analysis and provide market insights to inform pricing decisions
  • Manage and report on price risk, working closely with the hedging team
Key Requirements
  • Five years' experience in the energy industry, preferably in supply and/or generation
  • Deep understanding of the Irish Electricity and Gas markets
  • Extensive knowledge of electricity and gas customer pricing from first principles
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in tools such as Python, SQL, and PowerBI
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
