Job Title: Cleaning Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Assistant to maintain the cleanliness of our childcare facility. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and healthy environment for children.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness of the centre, including daily cleaning tasks and duties assigned by the Centre Manager.
  • Perform childcare tasks as outlined upon application, with a focus on providing a nurturing and supportive environment for children.
  • Complete all cleaning duties within specified timeframes and standards, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years cleaning experience, preferably in a childcare facility, demonstrating your ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of good hygiene practices, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control.
  • Self-motivated individual with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Manual Handling training is preferred, showcasing your commitment to safety and well-being.
  • Familiarity with floor washing and buffing equipment, with a focus on maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
