Job Description

The role of Senior In-House Attorney involves providing legal guidance and support to the business. This includes assisting with regulatory affairs, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of UK and EU laws and regulations, as well as experience dealing with insurance and reinsurance matters.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing legal advice and training to the business
  • Negotiating and assisting with regional contracts
  • Monitoring for and advising on legal and regulatory updates
  • Handling insurance regulatory and compliance matters
  • Maintaining good relationships with outside counsel

Qualifications include:

  • A senior attorney with at least four years of total legal experience
  • A qualified / licensed solicitor in England and/or Ireland
  • A strong working knowledge of UK and EU laws and regulations
  • Experience dealing with the CBI, FCA, PRA and/or Lloyd's

Key Skills

This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a busy environment.

Location

The primary location for this role is Dublin, Ireland.
