Compassionate Caregiver

Job Overview:

A compassionate caregiver provides personalized support to patients, promoting independence and well-being. This role involves assisting with daily tasks, mobility, and domestic duties while fostering a positive and empathetic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Supporting patients with safe movement and transfers
• Reporting incidents or notable observations to supervising staff
• Offering companionship and emotional support to patients
• Performing domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and catering assistance
• Carrying out additional duties as needed to maintain high standards of care and service

Requirements:

• QQI Level 5 Qualification in Healthcare Support or equivalent qualification
• Completion of required vaccinations (Hepatitis B, MMR, Tuberculosis & Varicella)
• Residency in Ireland and right to work in Ireland without restriction
• Willingness to undergo Garda Vetting
• International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16)
