Job Title: Health and Safety Specialist - Environmental Protection

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Health and Safety Specialist to join our team in Cork. As a key member of our health and safety department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our employees and contractors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in setting up training sessions and maintaining safety documentation
  • Conduct Health and Safety Inductions for new employees and contractors
  • Effectively communicate HSE requirements through meetings, feedback forums, and toolbox talks
  • Carry out risk assessments and hazard identification
  • Maintain a strong safety culture on site

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in Environmental Health and Safety or related field
  • Strong communication skills and experience preferred but not essential
