We are seeking a skilled Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals and contribute to the development of web-based solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering high-quality Java software in line with business goals
  • Ensuring that software meets both functional and non-functional requirements
  • Participating in refining user stories and translating them into technical tasks
  • Designing, coding, and implementing robust and scalable solutions
  • Building and maintaining unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability

A successful candidate will have:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Java
  • Experience building web applications and APIs using Java frameworks such as Spring
  • Solid experience in Hadoop
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Good Linux/UNIX experience

This is a hybrid role with three days on-site and two days remote each week. We offer a competitive daily rate and the opportunity to work on challenging projects with a talented team.
