Job Description

The Store Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of Supermac's restaurant by providing overall leadership and supervision to the entire staff. This involves directing assistant managers, training coordinators, and other staff members to meet or exceed established targets.

This leader conducts business daily as if acting as an individual owner of their shop, with support from the area manager when needed to facilitate alignment with company goals. Key functions include budgeting, staffing, training, community involvement, inventory control, labor control, and more.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coaches and develops Assistant and Trainee managers to achieve self-sufficiency and drive sales and profits.
  • Takes the lead in managing recruitment, selection, placement, training, development, and HR plans.
  • Investigates and responds to employee relations and customer complaints that impact the business.
  • Operates within legal guidelines and adapts to new procedures, standards, and changes as directed by the company or legislation.
  • Conducts appraisals and creates personnel development plans for all employees.
  • Maintains professionalism in public and refers media inquiries to the Area Manager/ Marketing Director.
  • Demonstrates flexibility regarding working hours, including weekends and nights.
  • Meets targets for food costs, labor costs, customer count, QSC Audit, mystery shopper, and pizza audit scores.
