We are seeking a highly experienced Commissioning Lead to join our team at Wallace Myers International Recruitment Agency. Based in Dublin/Leinster Region, this role offers an exciting opportunity for a professional with a trade qualification or engineering qualification, and at least 5 years' relevant experience in commissioning.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the commissioning program, ensuring all commissioning activities are completed on time and to a high standard. Key responsibilities include compiling commissioning packs, attending project commissioning kick off and coordination meetings, driving the commissioning program, completing project RFI/TQ's during commissioning, managing the design log process, completion of commissioning and test documentation throughout project lifespan, attending FAT & SAT tests when requested/required, ensuring all required site modifications are completed and validate as-built drawings, configuring protection relays, RTU, PLC, Power quality meters, and other substation automation systems, assist configuration and testing of SCADA systems, completion of pre and post energisation testing, commissioning of primary and secondary equipment on projects, completion and submission of redline drawings during commissioning, provide declaration of fitness when commissioning is complete, and assisting junior commissioning engineers with their development.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification through Apprenticeship or Engineering qualification.
  • 5 years' + relevant industry experience.
  • Flexibility/adaptability.
  • IT Literacy.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Operational experience with test equipment.
