Senior Speech and Language Therapist Vacancy

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Speech & Language Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team in CHO1 Cavan.

About the Role

This is a senior position within our speech and language therapy service, providing assessment, diagnostics, intervention, clinical supervision, and ongoing service delivery to children with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Therapy Service Delivery: Provide a comprehensive speech and language therapy service, including assessment, diagnostics, and intervention.
• Clinical Supervision: Supervise staff members, ensuring they provide high-quality care and support to children and families.
• Ongoing Service Delivery: Develop and maintain an effective speech and language therapy service, responding to the needs of children and families in the region.

Requirements

• A registration as a Speech & Language Therapist by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
• Minimum 3 years full-time post-qualification clinical experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
• Annual registration on the Speech & Language Therapists Register maintained by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU.

Desirable Criteria

• Postgraduate training and experience in Management of FEDS Disorders.
• Relevant postgraduate training specific to 0-18 years.
• Experience in conducting Assessment of Need.
• Relevant training and experience in the assessment and intervention of children with autism.
• Experience and/or training in clinical supervision.
