Chartered Building Surveyor Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Building Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take ownership of key projects and clients, working independently and as part of a team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor to deliver exceptional service and make a significant contribution to our company's success.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze building defects, collect information, and measurements.
  • Conduct Technical Due Diligence (TDD) surveys and write comprehensive reports.
  • Provide informed advice and recommendations with detailed reports.
  • Serve as Contract Administrator, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Manage projects, including overseeing specialists and sub-consultants.
  • Prepare designs and specifications at various stages.
  • Report on progress and quality of third-party building works.
  • Prepare condition records and schedules of dilapidations.
  • Conduct Reinstatement Cost Assessments (RCAs).
  • Advise on historic property preservation and conservation.
  • Supervise building maintenance and prepare maintenance schedules.
  • Monitor development projects.
  • Manage health and safety compliance as Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP).
  • Understand building mechanical and electrical systems.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years post-qualification experience.
  • Chartered Building Surveyor with SCSI or RICS membership.
  • Flexible working hours based on client needs.
  • Ability to manage instructions and maintain client relationships.
  • Understanding of commercial property.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong report writing skills with attention to detail.
Working Model:

This role requires onsite work for the first 6 months, followed by a hybrid working model thereafter.
