Mbryonics is a pioneer in free space optical communications, offering innovative solutions in photonic integrated circuits and advanced optical systems. Our company specializes in integrating and deploying optical communications systems in satellite communication systems.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Opto-Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team.

  • To play a key role in the senior mechanical engineering team and contribute to Mbryonics' ambitious goals from optical communications terminals to manufacturing processes.
  • To apply a 'test early' approach by prototyping designs in our well-equipped on-site manufacturing workshop.
  • To develop and implement improved engineering practices and procedures within a growing start-up environment.
  • To use CAD design, mathematical calculations, finite element analysis (FEA), and prototyping skills to realize opto-mechanical systems and ensure their performance across various environments.
  • To create novel solutions for opto-mechanical systems through innovative approaches and leveraging former engineering background/experiences.
  • To ensure that mechanical designs meet space-grade standards and produce GD&T-controlled drawings, procedures, and Bills of Materials under formal configuration control.
