About The Role

This is a varied role that requires flexibility, primarily operating mid-morning to late afternoon. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing service areas and points for optimal functionality.
  • Ensuring service delivery consistency and excellence across all events within the catering operation.
  • Providing exceptional customer service with a dedicated and helpful approach.
  • Maintaining personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform standards at all times.
  • Clearing and cleaning duties associated with services and related equipment or furniture.
  • Correctly storing food items and equipment after each service.
  • Assisting in the overall service within the Catering department as requested, including front-of-house duties during busy periods.
  • Contributing to the organisation's sustainability objectives.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
  • Self-initiative, well-organised, and ability to work independently.
  • A 'can-do' attitude and flexible approach to work.
  • Excellent attention to detail and consistency.
  • Prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
  • General knowledge of health and safety procedures.
  • Understanding of basic food hygiene and HACCP principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
