The role of an Orthodontic Specialist is to provide complex orthodontic care to patients. This involves assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing appliances to achieve optimal results.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive orthodontic assessments to determine the best course of treatment for each patient.
- Designing and implementing personalized treatment plans to meet individual patient needs.
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Registration in the Register of Dentists of Ireland or entitlement to registration.
- Registration in the Register of Dental Specialists for Ireland, division of Orthodontics, or entitlement to registration.
- Satisfactory knowledge of administrative aspects of orthodontic services.
- High standard of professional knowledge and satisfactory experience in orthodontics.
- Ability to possess requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of suitability and administrative capacity, for proper discharge of duties.
