Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of incoming materials and finished products.

">

Main Responsibilities:

">
  • ">
  • To conduct inspections on various commodities such as Plastics, Fluidic and Pneumatic Controls, Sheet Metal & Machined Parts, Cable Assemblies and Electromechanical Assemblies;">
  • To complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and lot inspection activities;">
  • To approve finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, dispositioning defective products for rework, and confirming rework;">
  • To determine acceptance or rejection of materials presented for inspection;">
  • To document inspection results by completing quality inspection reports and logs, and correctly and carefully inputting data into the quality database;">
  • To alert and assist the Supplier Quality Engineering department with failure and nonconforming material data recording and reporting;">
  • To be a team member of the quality department and support Production, Engineering and other internal departments when requested to check specifications and tolerances;">
  • To assess supplier capability to meet quality requirements to ensure supplier processes are an effective fit with Siemens requirements.">

Requirements:

">

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in a regulated environment. Strong working knowledge of operations within a Quality Department is required, including SAP experience.

  • Excellent Communication skills both oral and written;">
  • Experience in Inspection Methodologies such as; Fabricated/Machined Metal Mechanical/Visual inspection, Precision linear measurement, non-contact measurement, Molded and Machined plastics inspection and measurement is an advantage.">
