As a Revenue Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing revenue accounting processes and ensuring compliance with GAAP revenue recognition standards. This includes overseeing invoicing, contract maintenance, and deferred revenue reconciliations, as well as preparing revenue related ledger entries, accrual preparation, and revenue recognition / deferred revenue reconciliations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, experience with revenue recognition and general ledger maintenance, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. They will also be proficient in Excel / Microsoft Office suite and have exposure to different accounting standards (USGAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP) relating to revenue accounting.

This role is key to providing accurate and timely financial information used to support both internal decision making and external reporting compliance. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, FP&A, Product Management, and legal, to ensure accurate revenue reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage revenue accounting processes relating to invoicing, contract maintenance, and deferred revenue reconciliations.
  • Prepare revenue related ledger entries, accrual preparation, and revenue recognition / deferred revenue reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP revenue recognition standards and internal controls processes.
  • Implement and maintain revenue recognition policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of PQE required in either practice or similar international organization.
  • ACA / ACCA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, together with advanced proficiency in Excel / Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with Oracle; Salesforce (or other ERP) preferred.
  • Exposure to different accounting standards (USGAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP) relating to revenue accounting.

This is a hybrid-based position with weekly time in the office (min 2 days) with the flexibility of working from home. Though travel may be required from time to time, it is not expected to be regular or frequent.
