Job Title: Early Years Educator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our team as an Early Years Educator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Holding a QQI Level 5 qualification in Early Years Care and Education is essential for this role.
  • The ideal candidate will have 2 years'+ experience in Early Years care and education, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality educational programs.
  • A background working with school-aged children is also desirable.
  • The successful applicant will operate in accordance with the Child Care Act 1991 (Early Years Services) Regulations 2016, maintaining a high standard of quality and compliance.
  • Practical knowledge of Aistear, Siolta, and Tusla QRF is required.
  • This role involves following a play-based, emergent curriculum, which requires a deep understanding of child development and learning principles.
  • Other key responsibilities include being passionate and enthusiastic, having the ability to work on one's own initiative, and as part of a team.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of child development and learning principles.
  • Familiarity with current early years education policies and guidelines is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
