About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in Cork Mental Health Services. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and promoting recovery and well-being.

  • Provide expert mental health services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Lead and manage a team of medical and non-medical staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Participate in clinical audit, risk management, and quality assurance activities
  • Develop and implement best practice protocols in line with emerging research and best practice
  • Contribute to the development of the service and participate in strategic planning
