Software Development Expert Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Expert to join our team. As a critical member of our engineering team, you will play a key role in designing, developing and maintaining cutting-edge risk detection and prevention systems.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in architecting and developing large-scale backend systems using Python. Strong expertise in algorithm design, database development, and object-oriented design methodology is required.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable and efficient software solutions that leverage machine learning, data analytics, and automation to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain teams' products.
  • Collaborate efficiently with software engineers, data scientists and engineering teams across the globe.
  • Participate in the formulation and implementation of departmental processes, procedures, policies and standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a computer science or engineering field with 7+ year professional work experience in a relevant field. Or Master's degree with 5+ year profession experience or equivalent knowledge.
  • Backend development experience with hands-on expertise in Python.
  • Expertise in data structures, algorithms and problem-solving skills - ability to triage and resolve critical tech issues without supervision.
  • Proven experience in employing engineering/analytics solutions on real world problems.
  • Ability to work independently and proficiently on well-defined projects.
  • Effective inter-personal skills and collaboration skills with remote teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in big data technology such as Big Query.
  • Knowledge on Machine Learning application pipeline.
  • Data science skills in python.
  • Industry experience in payments, e-commerce, or financial services.
